Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Last Date LLC, a New Jersey company ("Last Date", "we", "us"), for using the Last Date app at app.lastdate.io and the site at lastdate.io. By creating an account or using Last Date, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Last Date.
1. What Last Date is
Last Date helps Muslims looking for marriage meet people their own circles of family and friends can vouch for, and lets family and friends help. Last Date is in an invite-only beta: features may change, pause or stop, and something may not work as described. We'll tell you in the app about changes that matter.
2. Who can join
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- One account per person, on a phone number that is yours.
- Everything you tell us and show others must be true and about you, including your age, your photos and your marital status.
- You may not join if we have removed you before, or if you are legally barred from using a service like this.
3. Your account
Keep your phone and your sign-in codes to yourself; you're responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at support@lastdate.io if you think someone else has used it. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
4. How you treat people
Last Date is built on trust between families and friends. You agree not to:
- harass, threaten, demean or intimidate anyone, or post hateful content;
- post or send nudity, sexual content, or anything that sexualizes anyone;
- ask anyone for money, run a scam, sell anything, or advertise;
- pretend to be someone else, or misrepresent your age, situation or intentions;
- share anyone's private information, messages or photos without their permission;
- use Last Date for anything illegal, including anything involving a minor or human trafficking;
- get around a block, a limit or a removal, or open more than one account;
- copy, scrape or automate access to Last Date, or try to break or probe its security.
5. What you post
You keep ownership of your photos, words and messages. You give Last Date permission to store, process and show them only as the app describes and only to run Last Date: your circle card to your circles, your profile to people you could match with, your messages to the people you send them to. You confirm you have the right to post what you post. We may review photos and remove anything that breaks these terms.
6. Safety
We check that each phone number is real, and most people you see are linked to you through people you know. We do not check anyone's identity, history or intentions beyond that, and we can't guarantee anyone's conduct. You are responsible for your own interactions, online and in person. Please read our Safety page before meeting anyone.
7. When we act
We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts anyone at risk, and we may report illegal activity to the authorities. Reports are reviewed by Last Date; the person reported is never told who reported them.
8. No guarantees
Last Date is provided as it is, during a beta. We work to keep it running, private and secure, but we can't promise it will always be available, error free, or that you will meet or marry anyone. Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under New Jersey law or any other law that cannot be waived.
9. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll post the new version here with its date. If a change matters, we'll ask you to agree to it in the app before you continue.
10. New Jersey law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
